In addition to her course load, Whitney is working to benefit the world by using math with computer modeling in order to blaze new trails in genealogical research. She is also BYU Noteworthy’s beatboxer. Whitney and her brother, Damian, are in the same cohort and have both been accepted to BYU’s mathematics master’s program.

Regarding her brother and the BYU community, Whitney says, “My little brother Damian is brilliant, the coolest person I know. He’s also on the autism spectrum. As his sister, I love that neurodivergent students like Damian can thrive at BYU. The professors and students are so supportive, so ready to connect and understand differences. Because of BYU, Damian and I are now equipped to tackle complex problems the world really needs help with.” We are grateful that Whitney, and her brother, Damian, work so hard to benefit the world.
